Our first Varnish Lane in South Carolina is located in the historic Cigar Factory building which overlooks the Cooper River in the East Bay area of Charleston.
Listed in the National Historic Register, the Cigar Factory recently underwent a $30 million dollar renovation and is now a wonderful mixed use property. The complex includes wonderful restaurants like the Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Mercantile and Mash as well as salons like Stella Nova and Barrellli Barbers. With plenty of parking the Cigar Factory location is easy to access and a great location to spend an afternoon or evening. And, with the Cedar Room located in the same building, we are happy to cater to private parties and events!
Prior to transitioning to Varnish Lane in 2021, this salon was previously a Water Room Salon which shared similar aspirations for creating a higher standard with more hygenic and relaxing nail services. Now under the Varnish Lane banner, this salon will offer the same high quality, relaxing, waterless and hygienic nail services that first drew national attention in our Washington DC Varnish Lane salons. From our wonderfully comfortable leather reclining chairs, complimentary beverages, 9 Free or higher nail polish selection, waterless services, plant based polish removers and the best trained nail stylists in Charleston we look forward to seeing you soon.
